How to Convert MTS Files to MP4

Sony and other slightly older high definition digital camcorders often use the MTS format when recording video footage to their harddrives. This format is not widely supported by media players or editing software. Which is why it’s best to convert MTS files to a more usable format, like MP4 video files. This guide will show you how to do that on Windows with a free program called Handbrake.

I have used Safehouse (http://www.safehousesoftware.com/SafeHouseExplorer.aspx) for many years. Its excellently simple to use Works fine in PCs and usb drives. and external storages and self extracting files. It can encrypt folders as well. You can make encrypted file containers up to 2GB where everything is automatic encrypted with drag an drop.

The best is its simplicity to use in relation to its funcionality.

Thanks for the nice web sight.
I have read a lot of the above mentioned programs, but only used
true crypt for entire disks and Safehouse for files. I will surely check out your list. ax crypt will be first due to its simple file encryption interface.
